Open Call for Speakers
Like all TED conferences, TEDWomen is a conference about “ideas worth spreading.” More specifically, it is about the power of women and girls to be creators and change-makers. It brings together a global community of people interested in exploring how change begins: with innovative thinkers who catalyze ideas toward action.
TEDxEasthamptonWomen will be one of hundreds of TEDxWomen events across the globe being held between December 5 – 15, 2019. Our goal in organizing the 3rd annual TEDxEasthamptonWomen conference is to continue to create a venue for self-identified women and gender queer individuals in Easthampton and the wider Pioneer Valley to meet other inspirational individuals who are putting ideas into action.
We are working to create a space for those who are making transformative change and putting innovative ideas into action to share their passion with others across the Valley and beyond. We hope this space will help to bridge the gaps between individuals that can occur as the result of the myriad of lifestyles we live.
We can accomplish this goal by bringing bright minds together to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and to provoke conversations that matter.
This year’s theme is “Bold + Brilliant,” which will showcase voices from around the world who dare to step outside of the norm and bring innovation to their field and to society at large, and do so unapologetically.
Are you “Bold + Brilliant” and have an idea worth spreading? We want to hear about it! Please fill out this proposal form no later than May 31 if you are interested in being considered as a speaker for this years event.
